Etching offers a wide range of mark making and working with progressive inclusion of detail in etched plates is a particular interest for me. Copper is the favoured metal, with a lustrous surface and ability to take repeated etching and punishment dealt out in the quest for producing an imagined print.
Lithography, and especially stone lithography, is a seductive and challenging printmaking method. Access to equipment is currently an issue for working with this method of print, however it is my ambition to continue to include lithography in my printmaking practice.
