I took the Holga medium format film camera out to the Anzac Day march on the 25th of April. It was a cool cloudy day and then the sun burst through and blew out my 400 iso film. Still, being a medium format I was able to get some results. I was looking for a human story within the marchers, and perhaps the double exposure below comes closest to sense of ordered disorder that I feel comes from the stories I am transcribing in my fathers POW diaries.

The annual parade was enjoyed by a large crowd and is one occasion that people can embrace, discuss and consider the issues, results and implications of war. And of course remember the people who have lost their lives or live with the horrors of war.
