concerning the health of our oceans
etching and woodcut
148.5 x 26cm
For the last year or so I have been working on smallish prints that relate to the ocean and this is the first larger scale version. This is in part because of my own love for the ocean and in part because of my brothers love of the ocean. He passed away twenty years ago and left behind a huge amount of work he had done in relation to all things fishy as he was a fish pathologist. His papers, once only visible to the eye of other professionals in his field seeking information in the bowels of CSIRO, are now appearing on the internet in part, whole and as references. This alone stands as a testament to his research, despite his early death.

Miss you big bro.
